I am writing to encourage you to vote for Dan Shagoury for House District 55 (Hallowell, Manchester, South Gardiner).
When I first met Dan, he was a member of the Hall-Dale school board. I was struck by his warmth, careful listening, and sincere interest in providing a quality education for our children. Several years later, I joined the Hubbard Free Library board of trustees, and began to work with Dan in a different arena. Here too, I found Dan to be thoughtful, creative, and a problem solver interested in hearing everyone’s ideas before making judgements.
Dan has many years of experience in public service, and is ready to put his knowledge and skills to work at the Legislature. I know he will always have the people of his district in mind as he makes decisions on state policy and spending. Please join me in voting for Dan this November.
