I am looking for a candidate who fights for all the Social Security and Medicare we invested in. A candidate who fights for women’s reproductive rights and LGBTQ rights. A candidate who will fight for teachers, keeping books in libraries, and the 55% state education funding that was promised. I want someone that will make sure history is taught adequately.
I want a candidate who will fight for health care and lowering the cost of prescription drugs and the need for mental health care, especially after COVID. And this candidate must support local businesses.
I found that person and his name is David LaFountain in Senate District 16.
We don’t need career politicians; we need public officials who live and see the needs of our diverse communities. This is what a leader does.
