Dan Shagoury is running for the seat in House District 55 (Hallowell, West Gardiner, Manchester). We cannot think of a better candidate for this position. Having known Dan for 20 years, we have been impressed with his knowledge of state government and how to get things done. Even more impressive are his ethics, values, integrity, enthusiasm, compassion, and hard work for helping people.
He will be a legislator advocating for the people, helping them access state resources and services needed as well as working to solve issues in the environment, transportation, education, affordable housing, elder services, and health care. Having worked at the Maine House Majority Office and the Maine Senate Majority Office for many years, he knows the processes needed to make improvements in government practices.
Our communities and the entire state will be so lucky to have this good man as a legislator.
