I am writing this letter to support Bill Bridgeo for election as state representative  in House District 60 (east side of Augusta).

Bill has come out of retirement as our longstanding city manager, and I support him in this effort because he has shown for two decades his commitment to our community. Bill will bring his knowledge and experience he has gained in public service during his career to the Legislature.

Bill has always been a supporter of youth programs in our city including the Capital Area Recreation Association (CARA) and all youth programs on the Piggery Road. I have worked with Bill on several projects on the CARA Complex which has become an asset for this community.

I have always voted for the best candidate, not the party, and that’s how I will vote this year. In November, please join me in voting for Bill Bridgeo.
