I have known Tavis Hasenfus since he played baseball on a team I managed. I won’t say that I coached him, since he certainly needed no coaching.

Tavis regularly showed up for the fall weekend games bruised from his Friday night football exploits for Winthrop High School. At that age his leadership and dedication on the field impressed me.

Tavis grew up in Winthrop, graduated from the University of Maine and lives in Readfield with his wife and children. Tavis is committed to our local schools, community colleges, a vibrant economy and improved health care.

Tavis knows his district and he has demonstrated what it takes to continue to be our legislator. I urge your support for his election to the Maine House of Representatives.
