I have had the opportunity to meet with Evan Goodkowsky as he campaigns for the Maine House seat in District 47 as an independent.
I was impressed by his focus on helping to make our rural communities places where people of all generations can thrive. He understands the challenges of affordable housing, access to health care and education at the local level and continued education at the community college and university level.
His dedication to the statewide broadband initiative has helped to move this effort forward so that all people can have affordable, high speed internet access.
I would urge the citizens of Alna, Jefferson, Whitefield and Wiscasset to vote for Evan Goodkowsky on Nov. 8.
