PORTLAND — Churches around Maine plan to offer Zoom services during Advent.
As additional activities are announced, they will be added to portlanddiocese.org/advent.
Third and fourth weeks of Advent (Dec. 11-24)
“Advent with the Holy Family” (Brunswick)
This retreat will be held at different times and venues to accommodate the schedules of those who wish to participate, including a Zoom option.
Each session will feature a short video, Scripture readings, and a group discussion. The sessions will be held each week of Advent.
The groups will meet 9-10 a.m. Wednesdays and 9:15-10:15 a.m. and 1-2 p.m. Thursdays at St. Charles Borromeo Church on 132 McKeen St., in Brunswick.

Advent Zoom Prayer (Zoom)
People can join the Sisters of St. Joseph of Lyon in Winslow via Zoom at 6 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays of Advent for a 15-minute prayer service centered on the theme of “Opening to Great Joy.”
