AUGUSTA – Kennebec Savings Bank President & CEO Andrew Silsby has announced Michelle Richardson’s promotion to senior vice president and senior residential lender. In her new role, Richardson joins the bank’s leadership team and is responsible for all residential lending.
Richardson joined the bank in 2000 as a loan processor. Prior to her most recent promotion, she served as regional vice president and senior residential lender, vice president and director of lending operations, and assistant vice president and branch manager of the bank’s Winthrop office, according to a news release from the bank.
“We are proud to have Michelle join the bank’s leadership team,” said Silsby. “Her extensive lending experience, ability to build relationships and skillful leadership of our residential lending team has made her an invaluable asset to the bank and a perfect fit for this role.”

Homeownership is a major focus of Kennebec Savings Bank’s loan business. Richardson’s extensive understanding of the bank unique mortgage lending process positions her to provide valuable insight at the leadership team level. “With over 22 years experience, the bank’s residential lending efforts are in good hands with Michelle,” said Silsby.
