A public presentation and conversation, “Restoring Native Sea-Run Fishes into the Cobbosseecontee Watershed,” is set for 6-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, at C.M. Bailey Public Library, 39 Bowdoin St. in Winthrop.

The event will cover restoring alewives, American eels and other sea-run fishes into the watershed.

The history, dams, fishes, environment and water quality are a few of the areas that will be covered, along with time for any questions and a conversation about sea-run fish passage in the watershed, according to a news release from Upstream Cobbossee.
