The parade winds down Route 194 in Kings Mills, which is part of Whitefield, to the turnaround in a neighbor’s driveway. where floats and firetrucks make the turn to end up on Town House Road.

To cap off the parade will be the King’s Mills Volunteer Fire Association’s Fourth of July festivities at 904 Town House Road, near the Kings Mills fire station. Featuring a local folk band, the events include an auction, hot dogs, a cake walk, games for children, French fries and baked goods.

The auction starts right after the parade ends, and the Union Hall White Elephant Sale is next door. The drop-off of usable, re-salable, auction items is at the Kings Mills fire station from 4-6 p.m. on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, July 1-3, or call Jeff Newell at 207-624-2268 with questions.

All proceeds support the volunteer firefighters and emergency medical services in Whitefield.
