SKOWHEGAN — The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 16 plans to host its third Stuff the Cruiser event from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30, at the American Legion Post 16 on U.S. Route 201.

Organizers want to stuff the cruiser with personal care items for men and women in nursing homes, along with the Sisters in Arms homeless shelter for women and children.

They also will take gently used books, DVDs and CDs, as well as coloring books for children and adults and colored pencils and crayons.
