I’m here for you!
My name is Hannah Barry (32), and I use they/them pronouns. I’m writing to announce that I’m running for Hallowell City Council, Ward 2.
I’m running for City Council because I believe everybody’s voice matters, and I envision a path toward a more equitable Hallowell. All people of Hallowell deserve someone who will value their voices, concerns, and needs. I will work with and listen to them to ensure that council decisions are made in the best interest of those we serve.
The last few years have presented many challenges. I will continue to advocate for getting Hallowell back on track — to uphold The Granite City Values as enacted in 2021 and pass policies that remove barriers to living and thriving here. I want us to be the inclusive, compassionate, accessible, funky, big-little city I know we can be.
