Girl Scouts of Maine has opened early registration to the public for the 2023 Transforming Leadership Conference.
The event is set for 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4 at the University of Maine, Orono. The exact event location will be shared with participants after registering online, to ensure the safety of Girl Scouts.
The 15th annual conference is an opportunity for Girl Scout members and non-members in grades six to 12, as well as adults, to come together, broaden connections, gain leadership skills, and engage in personal development through hands-on activities.
The event will feature an assortment of 60-minute workshops led by experts in the field, covering topics such as leadership styles, STEM, college prep, self-care, financial literacy and the outdoors, according to a news release from Girl Scouts of Maine.
