WINTHROP — Logan Berube recorded a hat trick as Leavitt defeated Winthrop 7-0 in boys soccer action Friday.

Brayden Greenlaw potted a goal and had two assists, while Jake Dening and Colin Schlobohn also scored for the Hornets (3-9). Max Thibault and Bradley Dupile each had an assist.

Winthrop had an own goal.

Vanya Bezhenar and Alex Corey split time in net for the Hornets and both made two saves.

Cru Presti had nine saves for Winthrop (3-9).
