BENTON — The Sebasticook Regional Land Trust plans to host a talk on the insect and terrestrial arthropod fauna of Maine.

The event is set for 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 18, at the Benton Grange, 29 River Road.

Geologist and retired Colby College professor Bob Nelson will introduce the Maine Entomological Society and its work. Most members are amateurs who either actively collect or merely observe and photograph, often posting the photos to apps such as iNaturalist or BugGuide.
