She spends lots of time engaging in the community beyond her many years of public service, as an event organizer, a patron at our delightful restaurants, customer at our businesses, and fan of our extensive crop of musical and artistic talent. She understands how to maintain and build upon what makes Hallowell such an attraction, be it the night life, the music/arts scene, the welcoming demonstrations of inclusivity and pride, the strong community that has historically helped each other through hardship using fundraisers and community gatherings, and the general funkiness of Hallowell.
