My family loves living in Hallowell. As an art teacher at Hall-Dale for the past 17 years, I am fortunate to have meet so many local families. We are also fortunate our kids go to a school that not only values academics and sports, but also the arts, diversity and inclusion.
Mayor George Lapointe initiated a process for the City Council to collaborate with the local school board during budget season. This is important because although the school system has its own budget, it is important for the city to know where the money is going, and how we are improving the lives of local families.
For this and many other reasons, I am voting for George Lapointe for reelection to mayor of Hallowell. I hope you will join me.
