Constance J. Dore

SKOWHEGAN – Constance J. Dore passed away on Saturday, Dec. 2, 2023 at Cedar Ridge Nursing Home after a long illness.

She was born on Feb. 21, 1935 in Anson to Hilma (Eastler) and Everett Rogers.

Connie was previously married to Maurice Dore of Edgartown, Mass. with whom she had three children. She had a rewarding nursing career, working at Redington Fairview Hospital for 30 years. She loved the company of friends and family and some of her fondest memories were spending summers on Oak Pond with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her two children, Jennifer Dionne and husband Stephen of Skowhegan and Vicki Josseyln and husband Glen of Strong; grandchildren Camden Dionne, Benjamin Guild, Conner Dore and Amanda Dore; and five great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her son, Robert Dore.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Redington Fairview Hospital for the early phases of her care and to Cedar Ridge Nursing Home for making the end of her journey sensitive and caring for Connie and her family.

At Connie’s request there will be a private service and burial in the spring.
