WATERVILLE — Mid-Maine Chamber of Commerce is set to hold a business breakfast from 7:15-9 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 11, at Best Western Plus on 375 Main St.
“Housing Policy and Practices: Here’s What You Can Do Now” is the topic.
Nancy Smith, CEO of GrowSmart Maine, will present on creation of more housing choices, and the policy options keeping municipal budgets stable. She will also speak about protecting productive farmland and open space, while fostering economic and community development, according to a news release from Mid-Maine Chamber of Commerce.
Attendees should come prepared with questions and take this opportunity to network with other business leaders.
The cost is $23 for members and $29 at the door and for nonmembers.
