RANGELEY — Chris Amisi hit six 3-pointers and scored 41 points for Pine Tree Academy but came up just-short in a 66-63 loss to Rangeley in boys basketball action Wednesday.
Rangeley (10-5) was led by Nolan Boone who scored 15 points, while William Brey chipped in 14 and Ian Lillis and Trevor Dolbier’s 12 points each. Pine Tree falls to 4-12.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
RANGELEY 53, PINE TREE 10: Olivia Pye scored14 points to lead the Lakers to the win in Rangeley.
Lauren Eastlack added 12 points for Rangeley (14-1) while Winnie LaRochelle added 10 points and six rebounds and Brooke Egan chipped in with eight points, five assists and five steals.
Pine Tree (8-8) was led by Emily Rojas with six points.
