Anyone would think a pre-tween penned Bill Nemitz’s column, “Lord have mercy, Mike Heath is back and he is angry,” dated May 4.
Nemitz doesn’t have a leg to stand on, so he resorts to schoolyard insults and mockery. His hyper-emotional defenses suggest a society on its last legs.
The truth has been known to incite shrieks and hysteria in people afflicted with darkness. He writes: “With polls everywhere indicating rapid and significant migration toward acceptance of lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgendered people.”
What polls is he referencing? The bludgeoning of which he accuses Heath is actually a technique his industry is famous for. The main stream media have worked for years to frame the question of same-sex marriage in ways that advantage its advocates.
The advocates of sodomy-based marriage are making people’s personal sexual preferences everybody’s business. It reminds me of the pro-abortion crowd crying, “Stay out of my uterus, but give me money for birth control.”
The media framers push to the forefront those, like Heath, who are described as divisive and working to destroy the harmony of the American community, whereas the advocates are never described in similarly loaded language.
This is exactly why we must make our case in the public square. The press and our opponents are determined to suppress our message. The newspapers write about us only when they can quote the homosexual lobby telling scurrilous lies about us, and the Nemitzes of the world interview us only until they discover that they can’t embarrass us, only themselves.
