The story on April 8 about the town of Rome not being able to leave the group of First Park investors sounded like I was reading a script for “The Sopranos” (“Rome wants to leave the group running an Oakland business park. But can they?“).
In that series, once you were part of the “organization” headed by Tony Soprano, you were in it for life. You couldn’t just quit or retire. There was only one way out, or go into witness protection and change your name.
Any suggestions for a new name for the town of Rome?
