I think it is a shame that, because of a few complaints, Waterville decided to ban the sale/possession of fireworks.
My guess is that every councilor who voted for this has at some point in their lives possessed and used fireworks. The same probably goes for those who complain about them.
If people are so concerned about noise from fireworks, perhaps they should consider moving to the woods and see if they can silence the crows and loons.
