The Nobleboro Broadband Committee is conducting a community-wide broadband survey to collect information about the town’s current internet status and future requirements for equitable broadband service.
Survey responses will aid the committee in identifying which areas in the community do not have access to high speed internet, and will assist committee members and town leaders in accessing the feasibility of making high speed internet available to homes, businesses and organizations in these under and unserved areas.
Survey results may also support the committee’s anticipated applications for grant funds to help build the infrastructure necessary to allow all residents access to affordable high speed internet.
All information collected via this survey will be used solely by the committee. The committee’s next meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 17, via Zoom. Go to Broadband Committee — Nobleboro, Maine.
