WASHINGTON — The Gibbs Library is presenting its 17th annual Student Art Exhibit, featuring the work of artists from Prescott Memorial Elementary School at the library at 40 Old Union Road, in Washington Village.
Art Teacher Anthony Lufkin has guided the students, using a wide range of materials and cultural art forms, to express their creativity in these works, according to a news release from the library.
The pieces, representing all of the kindergarten through grade six students, were selected and artfully framed and displayed by Lufkin.
A reception will be announced as soon as risk levels permit.
The show will run through April.
Library hours are 4-7 p.m. Monday, 9 a.m. to noon and 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, 3-6 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
