B.J. Jamieson, a genealogy reference specialist at the Maine State Library, is set to speak at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, via Zoom as part of the Vose or Virtual Wednesday Series.
Jamieson’s job lets her indulge her love of books and genealogy to an extent that she didn’t think was possible before she accepted the position, according to a news release from Vose Library.
She has a postgraduate certificate in genealogy from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland, as well as a master’s degree in library science.
Closed captioning will be available. To receive a Zoom registration link, call 207-785-4733, email librarian@voselibrary.org or stop by Vose Library, 392 Common Road in Union.
