WILTON — Police continue to investigate three burglaries that occurred over the June 25 weekend when items were stolen from a church, a business and a vacant house.
Two of the buildings were entered by force, Creative Wood Products on Depot Street and a vacant house on Prospect Street, Police Chief Heidi Wilcox wrote in an email. Mostly tools and electronics were taken from these two places.
“We are working on leads for both of those cases,” she wrote.
St. Luke’s Episcopal Church on High Street was also burglarized sometime between Saturday night and Sunday morning. A silver chalice, silver communion serving set and an Acer laptop computer were stolen.
“Nothing has developed on that burglary as yet,” Wilcox wrote. “It was not a forced entry.”
Anyone with information on any of the burglaries are asked to contact Sgt. Ethan Kyes at kyes@wpdme.com.
