David LaFountain would protect our children’s lives.

We have to reduce greenhouse gas emissions far more if we want our children’s world to remain livable. So we need to elect representatives who will support this.

As a former fire chief, David LaFountain knows about protecting people, and he is committed to taking action to reduce climate change and safeguard our children’s lives.

His opponent, Michael Perkins, has voted against most efforts to reduce climate change. To reduce greenhouse gas emissions, we will need to rely more on electricity, but Mr. Perkins voted against requiring CMP to develop a plan to upgrade the grid and make it more reliable. He also voted against bills that called for more solar power and gradually increasing the use of renewable energy in our electric grid.

Please keep climate change in mind when you vote. You are voting for your children’s future.
