RICHMOND — Landen Johnson scored 21 points as Old Orchard Beach defeated Richmond 67-57 on Thursday in a matchup of undefeated boys basketball teams.
The Seagulls improved to 6-0, while the Bobcats fell to 5-1.
Ricky Delisle added 11 points and Shilo Thao for Old Orchard Beach.
Connor Vashon netted a game-high 27 points and pulled down 12 rebounds for Richmond. Wyatt Cassidy scored 16 points.
CAMDEN HILLS 56, GARDINER 43: Will Duke scored 18 points as the Windjammers earned their first win of the season in Gardiner.
Westen DeWaard added 17 points and Quincy Messer 15 for Camden Hills (1-4).
Cody Dingwell scored nine points for Gardiner (0-5).
MT. BLUE 74, LAWRENCE 45: Jayden Meader led the Cougars (5-2) with 24 points in a win in Farmington.
Evans Sterling finished with 18 points and Zach Poisson added 14 for Mt. Blue.
Conner Nutting led Lawrence (3-3) with 12 points.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
OLD ORCHARD BEACH 70, RICHMOND 42: Elise MacNair scored 27 points as the Seagulls cruised to the win in Old Orchard Beach.
Sarah Davis chipped in with 19 points for Old Orchard (4-1). Tessa Ferguson added 14.
Kara Briand scored 17 points for Richmond (5-1).
GARDINER 60, CAMDEN HILLS 33: Lizzy Gruber had 19 points, 14 rebounds and five blocks as the undefeated Tigers won easily at Rockport.
Taylor Takatsu added 10 points and six rebounds for the Tigers (5-0).
Maddison Cronkite had 12 points for Camden Hills and Leah Jones 11.
MARANACOOK 34, LEAVITT 31: Natalie Mohlar scored 12 points to help the Black Bears to the win at Turner.
Eliza Pattershall added nine points for Maranacook (4-1). Caitlyn McCoy scored 11 points for Leavitt (4-2).
