Recently, on MPBN’s Jim Lehrer hour, Daniel O’Donnell was exulting about the new same-sex marriage law in New York state.
It brought to mind the 2009 repeal of gay marriage in Maine. I shall never forget facing head-on this tall gay guy who had moved to Maine specifically to get his marriage in California legally recognized in Maine. Gay legislators are scary. Believe it or not, they do not have the same mindset or values that most Americans have.
The same night, Charlie Rose, CNN’s legal analyst, talked about the remarkable repeal of gay marriage in Maine after our amoral governor and Legislature had passed it. Just think, Maine being exulted because we dared to cross the powers that be. I hope and pray that Mainers will take great pride in this accomplishment.
The other point I wish to make: Many critics of the media say they are in bed with the gay cause. I believe it. I watched very carefully and CNN’s Wolf Blitzer, and that old scoundrel MSNBC, seemed to have their tongues hanging out to hear about the approval of same-sex marriage.
Further evidence of media complicity was CNN Sunday, on which a camera image blocked out unbecoming behavior and lack of dress by New York state gay paraders. These gay parades are a disgrace to the nobility of our nation. If you think about it, the media never show us the seamy side of the gay culture.
