Finishing first at the Elm City Bridge Club in Waterville during its March 7 game were Ed and Joyce Rushton.
Rona Backstrom and Suzon Morrison placed second, and Di Bishop and Ken Harvey were third.

Capitol City Duplicate Bridge Club
The Capitol City Duplicate Bridge Clubs winners for March 8 were Pat Damon and Dan Townsend.
Jean Bird and Ken Harvey placed second, and Janet and Ted Williams placed third.
The winners on March 9 were Marilyn Ware and Martha Morrill. Kathleen Burden and Paul Mitnik placed second.
The bridge club meets at 12:30 p.m. every Wednesday at the Cohen Center, 22 Town Farm Road in Hallowell, and at 6 p.m. Thursdays at the East Winthrop Baptist Church, 55 Old Village Road.
Participants should bring a partner. Those who want to play but need a partner can call Director Paul Mitnik at 207-313-2648 at least two days in advance of the scheduled games.
