MANP’s Leadership Institute is an in-depth program providing executive directors of all experience levels with dedicated time and space to reflect, set goals and develop action plans to strengthen their leadership and prepare to shape cultures of learning and shared leadership within their organizations, according to a news release from Kelly McCormack, Development + Marketing manager with the association.
“This was a leadership learning experience like no other I’ve seen in Maine,” said Yeager, executive director of United Way of Kennebec Valley. “The facilitators are experienced nonprofit coaches, the learning topics help you grow various aspects of your professional self, and the peer community you develop is unmatched. MANP goes above and beyond to bring a five-star educational opportunity to nonprofit leaders. I’m already encouraging colleagues to consider it.”
This class of Leadership Institute was held from September 2022 and May 2023 in a hybrid format that kicked off and finished with in-person retreats. In the months between, the class participated in regularly scheduled virtual meetings, small learning groups, as well as one-on-one coaching sessions.
MANP’s Leadership Institute is facilitated by internationally renowned consultants and coaches Bob Wright (Panta Rei Consulting) and Corinne Eisenman (Contact Coaching + Consulting). Additional facilitating and programming is provided by MANP staff members Katrina Ruffner, director of Education and Jennifer Hutchins, executive director.
The 2022-2023 Leadership Institute was sponsored by Harvard Pilgrim Health Care.
