WATERVILLE — Holden McKenney scored four goals as the Erskine Academy boys soccer team rallied from a two-goal, first half deficit to defeat Waterville 7-2 on Thursday.

McKenney also scored five goals Tuesday against Belfast, giving him nine in his last two games, according to Erskine coach Carrie Larrabee.

Landon Lefebvre, Duncan Bailey and Emmett Appel also scored for Erskine. (4-1), while keeper Caleb Gay stopped seven shots.

Ethan Goodrich and Garrett Gendreau scored for Waterville (2-2-1).

 

MESSALONSKEE 1, MT. BLUE 1: CJ Wallingford’s penalty kick with two minutes left in regulation secured the tie for the Eagles against the Cougars in Farmington.

JJ Greenlaw scored in the first half for Mt. Blue (2-1-1).

Chase Ranger made six saves for the Cougars, while Andrew Beckwith stopped 13 shots for Messalonskee (1-3-1).

 

TEMPLE ACADEMY 1, CHOP POINT 10: Addison Frank scored for the Bereans (2-3) in their win at Waterville.

Chop Point fel to 0-3.

Edward Little 4, SKOWHEGAN 3: Ben Cole scored the game-winner in overtime as the Red Eddies (1-3-0) earned their first win of the season on the road in Skowhegan.

Abdihakim Daud scored twice and Thiago Linhares also found the back of the net for Edward Little (1-3-0). Cole added an assist to his output, and Colby Smith and Breccan Albert also tallied helpers.

Max Kimble made five saves for the Red Eddies.

Skowhegan falls to 1-2-1.

MARANACOOK 4, MOUNTAIN VALLEY 0: Natalie Mohlar had a hat trick and an assist as the Black Bears (5-0) stayed undefeated with the win at Readfield.

Kate Parker also scored for Maranacook.

Penny Bishop made 14 saves in goal for Mountain Valley (1-4).

 

TEMPLE ACADEMY 3, BANGOR CHRISTIAN 1: Dixie Szabo scored all three of her team’s goals as the Bereans (3-2) prevailed in Waterville.

Bangor Christian fell to 3-2.
