LEWISTON — A Halloween science extravaganza with Mad Science is set for 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25 in Callahan Hall at the Lewiston Public Library, 200 Lisbon St.
Those who attend can start off with decorating a trick-or-treat bag and visiting each service desk for a treat. There will be other Halloween activities and a snack before the 5:30 p.m. Mad Science Spook-tacular Show. The show will include the story of Dr. Erlenmeyer Funkenstein and the Mad Science Goblin, according to a news releasae from the library.
The show will be followed by attendees getting hands-on with gooey eyeballs and finding out what can happen to a mad scientist if they do not follow proper safety rules. Participants can marvel at the foaming jack o’lantern and witness ghosts appear out of thin air. Costumes are encouraged but not required.
