AUGUSTA — Kennebec Behavioral Health is hosting its annual fundraiser, “A Night Out,” featuring a murder mystery show with Mystery 207.

The event is set for 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4 at the Augusta Elks Lodge, 397 Civic Center Drive. KBH invites the community to join this night of intrigue, themed around Maine horror authors.

Mystery 207 will set the stage of the crime and provide clues and evidence throughout the night as attendees enjoy appetizers, a buffet dinner, and a cash bar and raffle (ages 21 and older). KBH encourages everyone to dress up as their favorite horror character (extra points for Stephen King characters), according to a news release from Elizabeth Keane, KBH marketing communications coordinator and database manager.

Tickets cost $55 until Sept. 22 and then increase to $60. For more information and tickets, visit kbhmaine.org.

KBH is also accepting donations for the basket raffle. The raffle includes donations from local businesses, individuals and KBH departments. If a business would like to become a basket sponsor or a regular sponsor, email Keane at ekeane@kbhmaine.org.

Healey & Associates is sponsoring a Night Out of Murder Mystery as a Faint Sponsor.

All proceeds from the show and raffle ticket sales will go toward KBH’s College Scholarship Fund. Each year, KBH awards several scholarships to local graduating high school seniors who are pursuing their academic and career goals in the mental health field.
