The Doomsday Clock is set at two minutes before midnight and the United States continues to grow its nuclear stockpile. When the clock strikes midnight we will be turned to nuclear waste.
Donald Trump is once again running for president. He is a wannabe dictator who praises Vladimir Putin and the likes of Victor Orban of Hungary. Trump has flat-out stated that on the first day, if reelected, he would act as a dictator.
Israel is at war with the Palestinians in Gaza. Russia is at war in Ukraine. There is a mass shooting in Lewiston.
The year is 2023, nearly 2024, and all I want for Christmas is world peace. It is almost two thousand twenty-four years since the birth of Christ. It seems we would have learned, by now, how to love one another.
