WAYNE — Cary Memorial Library will hold its fifth annual Summer Festival from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, on the lawn of the library’s Williams House.

Events include:

• A 5k run and walk at 9 a.m. at the elementary school and children’s scramble at 9:45 a.m.

• A bake sale, 10 a.m.-noon.

• Loon stories for all ages with librarian Janet Adelberg, 10:30-10:45 a.m.

• Loon calling contest for all ages, 11 a.m.

• Hammered dulcimer music with Cindy Bandy O’Brien, 11:30 a.m.-noon.

• A lobster roll lunch, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. There will be overstuffed lobster rolls, chips, pickles and homemade blueberry cake for $15 or chicken salad or vegetable sandwich option, $8.

• K-9 dog demonstrations, 1-1:30 p.m.

There will also be books for sale and a book signing with Cathy Cook, author of “Hauntings From Wayne.”

All-day activities include a quilt raffle, a loon lamp raffle, a silent auction and a display quilt by the Cabin Fever Quilters.
