The Lawrence High School football team is 3-0, and a big reason is the play of a ball-hawking secondary that has multiple interceptions in each game. Cody Martin has four picks to lead the way. The senior took some time to answer a few questions.
How long have you played football?
I’ve been playing since second grade, so 10 years.
What do you like about it?
I like the physical game, and scoring touchdowns, and the crowd.
What’s it like to be part of a program with so much tradition?
It’s great. All my friends, my brothers played. We love winning.
