GARDINER — A balanced scoring effort with goals from Grace Kelley, Lilly Chepke and Nickyia Lovely helped pace Gardiner Area High School past Camden Hills 3-1 in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference game Tuesday afternoon.
Abby Dyer added a pair of assists for the Tigers (8-1-1), who held a 17-2 advantage in corners for the game.
Abby Dodd accounted for lone Camden Hills (3-6-1) goal.
OXFORD HILLS 1, CONY 0: Amber Jenkins’ goal off a corner with 19:12 remaining in the first half proved to be the difference in the Vikings victory in Oxford Hills.
Madeline Lewis made one save for Cony (6-4-0), while Shannon Fillebrown stopped 12 shots for Oxford Hills (6-4-0).
SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 3, MARANACOOK 1: Amber Ridlon put the Black Bears on the board first, but Maranacook (2-8-0) could not hold on in a loss to the Phoenix in Readfield.
Emily Hogan, Caryn True and Kaylee Leclair scored goals for Spruce Mountain (7-2-0).
TELSTAR 2, HALL-DALE 1: Becca Howard assisted on a goal five minutes into the game and scored one of her own 20 minutes later to lead the Rebels past the Bulldogs.
Nicole Pelletier scored for Hall-Dale (1-9-0) in the second half, while Molly French made 12 saves.
BOYS SOCCER
Ryan Rodrigue and Sam Wilkinson scored first-half goals to lead the Erskine boys soccer team past Lincoln 2-1 in South China.
Luke Peabody had two assists for the Eagles (7-0-1), who out-shot Lincoln (4-3-1) 17-3.
Devin Scherer scored the lone goal for Lincoln (4-3-1).
GIRLS SOCCER
MARANACOOK 3, GARDINER 0: Catherine Sanborn scored two goals and an assist to lead the Black Bears in Gardiner.
Lily McLaughlin also added a goal and an assist for Maranacook (6-1-1), which led 2-0 at the half.
Lauren Boyington had six saves for the Tigers (0-5-3) while Liz Davidson had eight for the Bears.
LISBON 4, WINTHROP 0: Deliah Schreiber scored three goals and Katherin George added another as the Greyhounds rolled to the Mountain Valley Conference victory.
Ali Sult had needed to make just two saves for Lisbon (6-1-2). Shie Smith had 11 saves for the Ramblers (1-8-0).
HALL-DALE 5, BOOTHBAY 0: Clio Barr scored the first three goals of the game and Signey Lynch added a pair to lead the Bulldogs to the MVC victory.
Eva Shepherd, Emily Markham and Thea Sweet each had assists for Hall-Dale (6-3-0), which had a 15-4 edge in shots.
Boothbay dropped to 1-8-0.
ERSKINE 2, LINCOLN 2: Christina Belanger scored a goal and assisted on another to help the Eagles earn a point in Newcastle.
Mallory Chamberlain score the other Erskine (5-1-2) goals, while Kaylee Porter notched an assist.
Sophie Shumacher and Leslie Sanbesre each scored goals for Lincoln (5-1-2).
WOMEN’S SOCCER
COLBY 1, UMF 0: Emily Brook posted her third shutout in four games to help lead the Mules past the University of Maine-Farmington Tuesday in Farmington.
Maddie Tight scored the game-winner at the 27:57 mark of the first half, beating UMF goalkeeper Sam Hatch — who finished with 15 saves in the game.
UMF had a chance to tie it in the 86th minute when Avalon Amador got a one-on-one opportunity against Brook, but the Mt. Blue grad led herself too far on her final touch to allow the Colby goalkeeper to come out for the save.
