is a vote for health care
Voters in Oakland and Sidney are faced with a clear choice in the race for state House District 77 on Nov. 4. One of the most important issues in this election is health care. Alan Tibbetts supports universal health care coverage.
One of the biggest failures of the last legislative session was the failure to pass expansion of MaineCare under the Affordable Care Act. The Legislature should take advantage of the provision of the ACA that would pay for expansion of MaineCare to include childless adults living just above the poverty line. Federal funds would have covered 100 percent of the cost for the first year and at least 90 percent of the cost thereafter.
Voters in Oakland and Sidney should do their part to achieve this goal by voting for Alan Tibbetts on Nov. 4.
