THORNDIKE — Nancy Zane will give a bird-treat making workshop from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, at Mount View Middle School, Route 220, Art Room (M209). Those who attend will construct treat-feeders for birds with everyday objects and learn about the birds likely to visit these simple feeders, according to a news release from Sheepscot Wellspring Land Alliance. The alliance will provide materials including peanut butter.
Anyone with a peanut allergy is asked to contact Anna at slwamaine@gmail.com. The workshop is cosponsored with RSU#3.
