U.S. Air National Guard Airman Bradley M. Ferry recently graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills, according to a news release from Joint Hometown News Service.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force. Ferry earned distinction as an honor graduate.

Ferry, son of Gregory Ferry, Daniel Ferry, and Julie Ferry, of Hooksett, N.H., is the grandson of Linda and Richard Morgan of Augusta, and Gayle Denaco of Dover, N.H.

The airman is a 2014 graduate of Manchester Central High School in Manchester, N.H.
