Unbeaten Hall-Dale earned its first trip to the Western C regional boys tennis final since 2011 with a 4-1 win over St. Dominic on Friday in Farmingdale.
The top-seeded Bulldogs (13-0) swept the three singles matches and split two doubles matches with the Saints.
All three singles wins came in straight sets. Andrew Peterson defeated Chris Laverdiere, 6-4, 7-5. Bryson Camp knocked off Noah Toussaint, 7-6, 6-4. Jacob Young notched a 6-4, 6-2 victory over Elliot Hachey.
In doubles competition, Alex Guiou and Nat Crocker defeated Cliff and Drew Greco, 6-0, 6-1. Matt Boulet and Cam Jalbert rallied after losing the first set, 1-6 to win the next two, 7-5, 6-2 and defeat Malcolm Avore and Thomas Plourde for the fifth-seeded Saints’ only point.
Hall-Dale will face the winner of Saturday’s semifinal between No. 2 Waynflete and No. 3 Boothbay for the Western C championship on Thursday at Bates College.
