Golf tournament set for Sept. 12 in Brooks
FUTURE RSU 3 will host its 12th annual Golf Tournament Saturday, Sept. 12, at Country View Golf Club, Route 7, Brooks. Registration is set for 7 a.m., followed by an 8 a.m. shot gun start. All proceeds will benefit the current campaign for Mount View Athletic Facilities, which is a multi-purpose building that will house a concession/restroom/first-aid room.
Sponsorships available: sponsor a hole for $50 or $100 by giving a gift certificate or prize; donating any amount or registering a team. Team fee is $200 when paid in full by Aug. 28 and is limited to the first 18 teams to pay. After that date the fee is $65 per person or $260 per team. Fee includes a continental breakfast, 18 holes of golf, golf cart, lunch and many door prizes. Prizes are awarded for a Hole in One, Chipping Contest, Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin, Low Gross and Low Net. There will also be a 50/50 raffle, putting contest and on/off the green contest.
