CARIBOU — Four health centers in Maine will get more than $1.5 million from the federal government to expand oral health services around the state.

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is providing the money as part of a nationwide effort to increase the number of oral health care patients served.

The center receiving the largest grant is Portland Community Health Center, which will receive $525,000.

The other centers are Katahdin Valley Health Center in Patten, Penobscot Community Health Center in Bangor and Pines Health Services in Caribou. Those centers will receive $350,000 each.
