The Alzheimer’s Association, Maine Chapter, seeks qualified participants for its Volunteer Scribes Program. This free program features college students who interview and write the life stories of participants who are persons living with dementia. In turn, participants help educate future health care professionals about Alzheimer’s.
A Volunteer Scribes information sessions are set for 2-3 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13, at the Waterville Public Library, 73 Elm St., Waterville; 10:30-11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14, at the Muskie Community Center, 38 Gold St., Waterville; and 11 a.m.-noon Thursday, Oct. 6, at Lithgow Public Library, 45 Winthrop St., Augusta.
