Haylee and Keenan Sodoma, twins from Sidney, celebrated their 13th birthday Feb. 25 at the Waterville Area Humane Society.

The twins asked guests to bring gifts for the animals instead of themselves.

Shelter director Lisa Smith said birthday parties can be held in the community room of the shelter as a way to help generate donations for the animals.
