Police told the Concord Monitor that a woman called police around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday to say her husband had shot himself in the knee. The woman said her husband appeared to be sleepwalking at the time and woke up when the gun went off.

Police say the man was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. They don’t anticipate filing charges.
