A community tree lighting and holiday kickoff event will take place Saturday, Dec. 2, at the Chelsea Town Office and Elementary School.
A free spaghetti dinner will be held from 4:40 to 6 p.m. in the Chelsea Elementary School cafeteria and the tree lighting will be at 6:30 p.m. near the Town Office.
Santa will ride in on the new town fire truck after the tree lighting, he will be available for photos and treats will be served.
Raffles will be drawn around 7:15 p.m., you do not need to be present to win.
Nonperishable donations will be collected for the Chelsea food bank/pantry.
