A Boothbay Harbor man was arrested late Monday night and charged with breaking into a Nobleboro home earlier in the day.
Lt. Michael Murphy of the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office credited the arrest of 19-year-old Hunter Andrews to a concerned citizen, who spotted an artist’s sketch of the burglar on the sheriff’s office Facebook page and phoned in a tip.

“When confronted at his home, Andrews admitted to the offense,” Murphy said in a statement.
According to police, Andrews broke into a home on Center Street just after 8 a.m. Monday. He attempted to steal valuables from the owner while displaying a hand tool as a weapon. After a brief confrontation, Andrews fled without stealing any items.
He was last seen fleeing the neighborhood in a green, four-door, Ford Explorer.
Andrews was being held without bail Tuesday evening at the Two Bridges Regional Jail in Wiscasset pending his initial court appearance.
